When I read mail on my device (a Nokia E71 with RoadSync), after reading a message I tend to move it either to [Gmail]/All Mail, or into the folder for the appropriate tag. The problem is that more often than not, when I log into Gmail, the message is still marked as unread. I thus have to go in and clean up clumps of unread messages now and then.
If I read a message on the device and leave it in the Inbox, or move it after it has been in the Inbox for a while, then it will show up in Gmail as read.
I suspect this has something to do with either the order in which the operations are sent to Nuevasync, or the order in which Nuevasync sends the operations to Gmail, so I'm not sure there's anything can be done if it's a problem with RoadSync.

I think this is probably a RoadSync-specific issue, or perhaps an interaction between RoadSync, the service, and GMail.
I'm going to try to reproduce the problem here, since we have RoadSync/Nokia test devices handy.
