Syncing WinMo phone with Google Calendar and iCal

I am syncing my Samsung Ace with Google calendar using NuevaSync, and things are going great so far. I am wondering, though, if I use Snow Leopard's built-in iCal to GCal sync, could I potentially mess up my NuevaSync/Exchange sync with my phone?

This should work just fine (we have probably thousands of users doing the same thing).
