On my N900 I set up push email through MfE<>nuevasync<>GMail.
Everything looks pretty good, contacts, calendars, e-mail, with a single issue: I have 2 inboxes on the device: "Inbox" (wich is empty) and "INBOX" (which contains all the GMail inbox e-mails).
Any ideeas?

Hmm...an intriguing mystery.
We have code in the service to make 200% sure that we don't ever send two inbox folders to the device (we had some situations where the users' IMAP mailboxes were corrupted, and really contained two Inbox folders, and this turns out to break sync for some devices). So in theory you can't have two inbox folders ever.
Can you post or mail me your username please ? We can take a look at your folder list in the service's database.

Hi, I checked the folder data for your account in our database and there's something not right with it.
There's a 'real' inbox folder, but also a 'fake' one that the service uses for accounts that don't have
email sync enabled. This fake folder should have been deleted when your phone switched to email sync.
I've asked one of the developers here to look into this. It may be that the N900 does something
different than other devices here. We'll remove the extra folder.

I too have the same problem: "INBOX" (which contains all the GMail inbox e-mails) and "Ricevuti" (which is empty).
Could you please check this?
I'm using a Nokia N900 (like user thavoc did).
Thanks.
G.

Exactly the same problem here. I'm about to try removing the sync relationship from the device and re-creating it.
Dave
Edit: That fixed it.

Hmm...it does sound like the N900 is doing something oddball in the transition to an email-enabled account.
When we wrote that code the N900 didn't exist
We're going to try to reproduce this here and figure out how to make it happy (get the device to notice that the old folder is gone).
