Hi,

With the new task feature, I've decided to give the trial premium service a go.

Since I'm planning to pay for the premium account, I thought i should give push email a go.

I have a standard gmail account and a Nokia n95. I've setup the gmail account from the NuevaSync end, and have told Nokia Mail for Exchange to now sync emails. However, when I run a sync (I only sync manually when I have a wifi connection) it syncs 0 emails - even though I expect it to grab all the emails from the last few days on my gmail account.

I've tried a 'full resync' and I've also deletd the MfE profile and reset it up, but still no luck.

Is there any other tricks for getting email setup on a Nokia phone?

Daniel

(PS - thanks heaps for getting tasks working, it's won me over to pay for a Premium account.)

Hi, your mailbox has an interesting problem that I realized a couple of other users had reported, and with yours added to the list a big light bulb lit up here.
All the folk with this problem have Nokia devices, and they all have a message in their mailbox that's throwing an error inside the service.
We think that the Nokia sync client "gives up" syncing if it ever receives an empty response to the first sync operation on the mailbox.
It's receiving an empty response because one message isn't being converted properly--that's the underlying problem we need to fix.
Tracing has been enabled on your account. If you have the time, it would be useful if you could resync (select "Full resync") your phone,
the error will re-occur and we'll have the necessary trace data to determine the cause (and fix it).

Thanks - doing a full resync right now.

(It's strange, I'm a cheapo by heart, but I'm really glad to have a reason to buy the premium service as I've enjoyed using the calendar & contacts syncing for a few months now. Your prompt and helpful customer service has only increased my happiness is paying up.)

Thanks for the update. We deployed a fix for the problem (identified thanks to your post here) last night.
