I'm going back to the Google Sync! Reliable push, no duplicates in my contacts, contact pics and information that ACTUALLY updates. It's been fun using NuevaSync, but I need better contact management.

I just signed up with Nuevasync last week. I'm hoping Nuevasync can add something more (like maybe Tasks?) soon so I don't feel like my timing was terrible.

Like a personal Birthday present from Google to me

Thanks NuevaSync, I am going to try the new google service (am a paid premium user here). Certainly doesn't mean I won't be back, I just like new shiny things

I like Nuevasync also and I hope they will release great features like HTML support for windows mobile A little more transparency in your current developments is mostly welcome.

I switched back to google sync but found it to be very unreliable in terms of email push, back to nuevasync. Also nuevasync works with Documents2Go whereas google sync does not. The only feature I'm missing here is that google sync allows static calendars to be synced (like contact birthdays, so on) wheras nuevasync does not - any chance that's on the way?

Hmm...we do allow syncing the contact birthday calendar. It's a read-only calendar so will be disabled for sync by default. Just log into our web site and click 'setup' next to Calendar, and enable it.
AFAIK there is no calendar that Google's sync service allows that we don't.

Google Sync has been nothing short of a nightmare. I wanted to try Google Sync (like everyone else) when I heard about it, but it's been horrible. The push Gmail has been terribly slow (5-10 minutes) when it actually worked -- at least 1/2 the time I never even received the new emails at all.

The short version is this: You get what you pay for. NuevaSync.com will continue to receive my $25 year because Google's free Sync app/service is horribly unstable/slow/broken.
