Can you limit range of date for calendar sync?

Can you limit range of date for calendar sync?
I know you can limit the range of calendar sync from the client side, but it only limits the past, not the future.
I'd like to sync some of the wonderful Google public calendars (such as the phase of moon calendar), but their perpetual nature creates a problem with the sync. It would be nice if I could just sync the next 12 months' worth of events from the calendars.

Hi, we don't have this capability at present, but it's a good suggestion. Humans typically don't generate events far into the future (besides recurring events which are "virtual" in nature and therefore don't consume resources regardless of how long they recur for). Obviously someone has gone wild with a script in the case you mention !
