Temporary Service Interruption on the Evening of 6/18

We encountered unexpected errors attempting to communicate with Google services on the evening of 6/18.

After some intermittent errors, we lost the ability to contact Google for approximately one hour, around 8:30-9:30pm PDT. Normal service was restored after that time.

Over Saturday night (6/1

and Sunday morning (6/19) we added several new countermeasures and features to handle any future communication disruption with Google more easily. To date, that has not been necessary and we've encountered no further disruptions.
