If you go to setings then mail, contacts, calenders and then open the exchange account there is an option that says "Mail Folders to Push" select that then and you can then choose the other folder you want pushed.

Yep, I aleady had all that set up. As dboreham pointed out, it was actually the limit on real time pushed folders that I was running into.
Looking forward to seeing the new self-serve page that will let us tweak this!

One further question about the current service: If the default number of real time folders is 2, after the Inbox how is the second folder selected? First alphabetically?
Yes, the folders are alpha sorted. The service ensures that the inbox is monitored always so it has priority.

I experience very slow load times to load email into my folders. Usually up to 30 seconds for a folder to populate with email. And if there is alot of email could be up to 1-1.5 minutes. I also notice that sometimes when I go into a folder all the mail disappears and then downloads again. Taking another 30 seconds.
All of a sudden tonight I notice that if I delete something on gmail web client on my desktop. It could take quite a while to get the change to the iphone, even if I click on the circle arrow and tell it to update.
While all this is going on I have reverted to using a second gmail profile on my iphone configured with direct imap to gmail, this to see what is really going on in my folders and get quick access to them. It seems the direct imap to gmail loads folders in about 1-2 seconds and updates my iphone on the fly, while nuevasync exchange active sync will take 30 seconds to update a folder and minutes or longer to get the directory updates. Of course direct imap to gmail does not get me my new email quickly.
So I personally find that the push email service is working flawlessly. I get my new emails within seconds or sometimes sooner then seeing them in my gmail folder.
Hoping they find the problem as to why load times and updates are so slow, while push email is so great and quick.

I am, verbatim, experiencing the exact same issues.
I believe that support is aware of these items, and I'm hoping they will have a resolution soon.

My push email does not seem to be working at all tonight (uk time). My weather server sends me the weather at 22:00 and that along with some eralier messages did not load until I brought my iphone out of standby.
Other times, like at 06:00 this morning it works within a few seconds of a message being sent.

Hi, since your forum id matches an e-mail username, I took a look at your account's recent history. Between and 21:52 22:20 your time your phone didn't request push service. This would explain why nothing got pushed during that time. The next obvious question is why did it not request push service? I'm not sure why but it may have been related to a server re-start that happened at 21:59. In this instance the server was power cycled rather than rebooted and this could have led the device to think it was still connected until the end of its time out period (which could have been up to 20 minutes depending on the frequency of recent sync activity and a few other factors).
If this is the explanation it's a fairly unusual event that I wouldn't expect you'd see again. On the other hand, if you are regularly seeing this kind of 'push hole' then I'd recommend you send our support team an e-mail so we can monitor your account more closely in case there's a problem we're not aware of.
