Plaxo's API service has stopped working for us, so if you are syncing with Plaxo it won't work at present.
Some devices will fail to sync other data (calendar, email) due to the Plaxo failure so if you are having
problems please disable Plaxo sync on our web site (disabling contact sync on the device doesn't work).

Hi, you have two options:

1. Ask Plaxo how you can get your contacts onto your phone. They have several solutions that may meet your needs depending on the type of phone you have.
2. Move your contact data from Plaxo to somewhere it can be synced from (e.g. Google contacts).

Such a bad news ! Do you have plan to solve this issue ? Or is it definitively dead ?

It's dead for now. We're looking at our options to resurrect Plaxo sync, but I'm not too hopeful at this point.

Do you have some explanations ? Is it Plaxo actions to avoid Nuevasync working with their services ?

Subject: Re: Feedback on the New Plaxo <<#1030771-4424476#>>

Hello XXX,

Nuevasync was using a previous version of a Plaxo api. We had released a new api a year ago in June that we notified current developers about. We informed Nuevasync at the beginning of this year that the api would be retired in August and they would need to update to the new api. We extended that deadline to September after Nuevasync had an issue syncing with Plaxo after they changed a set of their ip addresses which avoided the whitelisting we had put in place for them. We retired the older API this past week because we could no longer support the api/servers.

My understanding from Nuevasync is that they have been working on updating their service, but have not completed it yet. He also said that they have now shutdown the Plaxo service and are advising users to migrate to an alternate solution.

Regards,

Kathy
