Did you e-mail support yet? I was having the same issue last week and e-mailed support about it. They resolved my issue very quickly.

Messages from my out box have now just been delivered so all now seems well.

If someone fixed something.

Thankyou.

Actually we didn't fix anything. The problem seemed to be GMail's SMTP service, which was dropping the connection during SSL handshake. I'm not sure why, but was only doing so for your account, and it stopped (began working) just after we began looking into the problem. Something of a mystery.

The Issue is gone. We are still Tracing my Account in case the Issue my return.
It seems that Google had disabled my SendMail abillity from my iPhone "somehow" because i had 1 malformatted email receivient adress.
It was something like xxx@.xxx.com

It WAS NO NuevaSync Issue

BTW: The Support was very helpfull while investigating this. They were really fast and very patient with me.

Thank you. Thank you very much!

So it does look like this was the same syndrome as earlier reported on the same thread : The Google SMTP service refused to send messages for certain users (three users, based on my searches in the service log data), and only for a fairly short period of time. The problem 'went away' before we had a chance to get too far into the investigation unfortunately so we don't know anything about why Google dropped service for these users. Possibly just an internal service issue with Google (their services aren't always 100% reliable). or possibly there's some anti-spam measure on the SMTP service that these users unwittingly triggered.

I can confirm that I had a few clients (that are on google apps) were having problems authenticating and sending smtp emails earlier. Problems resolved themselves.

This problem seems to have reappeared for a couple of users. It would be interesting to know if anyone else is seeing SMTP problems (with clients other than our service). Since the problem only affects certain users, it's hard for us to test and debug (all the GMail accounts we use have no problems with SMTP).

I've been looking at this problem again tonight because it showed up for another user. I'm not 100% convinced at this point that it is a Google problem. We see Google's SMTP server close the connection, which is what made us think there was some Google service problem, or perhaps an anti-spam measure we were accidentally triggering. However, new evidence has emerged that makes me suspect that the connection close is happening as a result of something our end did. We haven't yet figured out the details, but the good news is we now know how to fix an account so the problem goes away.

Ok, I think we have it mostly figured out. There were, in fact, two completely different problems with SMTP sending. Both happened to be reported today. The first, this morning, was some kind of Google SMTP service transient outage, we think. The second is a bug in our service related to our diagnostic logging code. The two issues are completely unrelated but because both showed up on the same day, we didn't think through the second problem properly and assumed it was just a repeat of the first.

Your account setup was slightly wrong (StartTLS enabled on the SSL port for SMTP).
I've fixed it for you, so your sending should now work.

We have an auto-test feature on the main web site page that should have
caught this, but for some reason it's just never completing the test.

Ah...as I type this I realize why...you're in the free trial, and therefore
on a free service server. There's an SMTP timeout time we need to set on that server's
web site and I suspect that has never been done because until recently there
weren't email users on those servers.
