Supposedly 3.0 on the iPhone now supports the ability to create an event AND add invitees to that event straight on the iPhone.

But I don't have the ability to do that. Do you guys? I've read that it requires "Exchange", but thought since Nuevasync leverages the exchange service (I think), that I would have this ability.

As a related data point - a colleague recently tried using Calgoo connector to additionally sync with Entourage on his mac, and since doing that, he DOES have the ability to invite people from his iphone. We work for the same company and do not have corporate exchange and both use Nuevasync, so that appears to be the only difference. If Calgoo can get it to work, I would think Nuevasync could too...

Comments?

Hi, we're working on this. It almost works right now, but not quite in that you can create invites on the phone, but they don't turn into useful messages for other users when sent.

Thanks for the quick reply. Glad to hear you guys are working on it. I love nuevasync and have been a user for a while now. Hope you get it resolved quickly - it seems as of late I've been needing to arrange meetings from my iphone.

Cheers!

relating to this issue i have a request...

in our company we have other people (office managers) adding things to our calendars all the time. on google it shows that it was added by that user for me - but works just fine when modifying etc. if i view this on the phone through neuvasync it shows myself as an "atendee" and then wehn i update it i get an email sent to me immediately about this update. not really a functionality i am looking for as it generates alot of email that i need to sort through.

so i ask that if you are working on invitations etc if you could consider not sending updates when the main user is the only invite? or however that makes sense? thanks!

Can you please provide an update on this? I really need the ability to invite attendees from my iphone for Google Calendar events.

Hi, investigating and fixing this tool longer than I expected (actually other things cropped up that burned the time allocated to working on this problem).
Anyway, this and a few other calendar fixes are being rolled together into a new release that will be available soon. Probably early next week at
the current rate of progress.
