iPhone Contacts Groups (aka catagories) Google Contact Groups

Well, I can't speak for others, but I probably would. Right now, there really isn't a good, cloud-based system for iPhone contacts, except for mobileme. (I'm assuming that the upcoming iPhone OS4 will properly work with multiple exchange-based accounts, as is claimed.)

Well as NuevaSync is the coolest syncing service around, I will definitely be resubscribing any way.

But I think it's important to keep building the features ; it keeps my interest.
At the moment I am trying to test the Google Calendar invite system.

But down the track, having Google groups sync as well, would be a nice new feature
from my point of view.

Hi, I wanted to second the demand for groups. My contacts are grouped by clients, family, friends, etc. Groups on the iPhone could not only help searching for contacts but could also reduce the number of contacts synced if you allowed filtering by group (only sync certain groups). It could allow for a archive group of contacts that is kept on gmail and not synced to the phone for every day use.

Right now I don't see any reason to use the premium service but groups could be used to further differentiate between free and premium.

Nuevasync is awesome - but please re-think group sync.
